Steve Kesler

Steve Kesler’s decorated 25-year career in real estate and law make him an expert in commercial lease management.  He began his career in his home country of South Africa with a law degree from the University of Capetown that led him to practice as an attorney of the Cape Supreme Court.  He then transitioned into real estate, as a corporate office leasing specialist and high profile industry spokesperson in Johannesburg.

Steve founded the Kesler Corporate Property Group, a leading lease negotiation and brokerage firm in Johannesburg.  He was certified as an international member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) in 1996.

After relocating to the United States with his family in 1997 he served for five years as Director of Leasing for Divaris Real Estate, a successful property management and brokerage company in the eastern United States, before joining Property Works in Decatur, GA as Director of Lease Negotiations in 2002.  Property Works is a leading national real estate services management company that specializes in the restaurant industry.  In 2004 Steve founded Leaseworks to support the lease management and lease negotiating needs of Property Works as well as his own commercial clients.

In addition to his negotiating skills, Steve is a dedicated family man who enjoys cooking for family and friends, gardening and working out.  A former rugby player, he follows his passion for the international sport from the safety of his armchair.
